Our Fredericksburg Wine Road 290 is an association of Texas wineries along US Highway 290 on either side of Fredericksburg, Texas. Old Tunnel State Park

This old abandoned railroad tunnel is home to over 3 million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats and 3,000 cave myotis bats from May through October. Guests from miles around to see the nightly swarm of bats escape the tunnel into the night sky.

At this historic site guests can experience what life was like on this farm. Park rangers wear historical clothes to work the farm they do daily chores such as feeding animals, cleaning and even churning. They help guest know what life was like and answer questions.

Garrison Brothers Distillery

This is the oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas. Visitors can tour the large estate and sip the best bourbon Texas has to offer. It is named after the West Texas Swimming hole.
